27% sales growth for Sanlorenzo Italy
If the last boat from Dusseldorf will not enter the annals of the world yacht and superyacht for signed contracts-a large British shipyard that, according to our information for two sales, without deposit check, has settled -that was the year last a great for the Italian Sanlorenzo.
The project, managed by Massimo Perotti, recorded strong growth, driven by an ambitious research and development program, in particular in the field of hybrid propulsion, which was used to expand and modernize the various production units, some of which are located in near La Spezia and partly in Tuscany.
From a financial point of view, Sanlorenzo is breaking all its records.
The project thus has a turnover of 380 million euros, an increase of ... 27% against 2017, with a growth of almost ... 20%, supported by a complete order book.
The aforementioned order backlog in 2019-2020 would therefore amount to almost 500 million euros (almost 77 superyachts on behalf or under construction !!!!), which is notable for a single-brand shipyard if its Italian competitors (Azimut-Benetti and Ferretti (Sino-Italian) Many of them have !!!).
This situation can be explained by an ambitious investment strategy that has led to the shipyard investing almost € 100 million in both products and the positioning of the brand in the last 10 years.
